My trip to Monhegan Island in September was great fun, mainly because of the very nice artists I got to hang out with. Witty and kind!We lugged our gear through gravel roads and down narrow, muddy paths to get down to the water's edge just to paint this famous artist's house...Jamie Wyeth. The day was just lovely......but I was attacked by a swarm of horseflies that eventually cut my paintout short! Ouch!
I painted this piece in oil and it measures 10"x10".
