Monhegan Forest trail

In September, I traveled with four other artists to Monhegan Island, Maine. We stayed there for nine days painting and having fun. One day, it was very misty, so my artist pal and I hiked through the dense forest on Cathedral Trail, all the way to the ocean at Black Head. Here, I took this photo where it shows very bright light glaring through the dense foliage.

I painted this in acrylic using no water, but following that process with glazing medium and lots of layers. It measures 10"x10".
