The weather was gray and cold, but my artist pal and I drove to Keuka Lake to enjoy and paint the last of the fall colors. She got permission for us to go onto the property of Dr. Frank's Winery. From the top of their hillside, we could view the lake and capture all the colorful grapevines. The colors ranged from deep crimsons to yellow golds.This piece shows an expressive body of strokes partnered with lovely fall colors. It measures 10"x10" and I painted it in oils.
