Today, members of the plein air group met at one of our favorite spots...... Holmes Hollow in Victor, NY. It's a tree farm where I buy my Christmas tree. Although it was past peak, in terms of color, you could still see the crimsons and golds which really lit up next to all that green.I painted this piece in oil and worked hard at achieving the varied brushstrokes in the foreground.
It measures 10"x10".
