This piece shows the pond at Palmetier's Nursery on Rt 39 in Geneseo, NY. It's a wonderful place, filled with gardens, and lots and lots of plants. I painted this one in pastel.

Sunset, Mendon Ponds

I wanted to portray the sunset at Mendon Ponds with intense color to express the drama which I experienced at the park. I painted this piece with rich, very dramatic colors and values and is framed in a gold wood with a white linen liner. Lovely!
