This oil painting of the Pickering Museum was created on site and entered into the 2012 Sackets Harbor Plein Air Painting Competition. It was later sold at the auction on Sunday.
It measures 12"x12" and really shows the brushwork. You can feel the sunshine by the value and temperature changes in this piece.
