Koi Pond-- WINNER OF JUDGE'S AWARD SOLD

I painted this in acrylic from a photo I had taken of a koi pond. It has very pleasing colors with calligraphy in the foreground water to add interest and design. The flowers in the back are painted more generally with less definition.

It measures 12"x16" and I framed it in a frosted gold that really complements the yellow tones throughout the piece. 

I entered it into the Penfield Art Association's Spring Show. Jeanne Lindsay, the judge, selected it for a Judge's Award.
