I captured this family wading in the water near the Saugerties Lighthouse in the Hudson River area.The wet sand had all these lines and showed movement and color that I just had to paint.
This piece measures 20"x24" (very large for me), considering I usually paint much smaller. I painted it in oil.
I really love this Brenda! It has an Impressionist feel! Very lovely subject matter and water that is so appealing in it's color and movement! Lovely piece! You are brave to paint plein air so large! Nicely done!
