This is the view from the Visitor's Interpretive Center, near Paul Smith College in the Adirondacks. I stayed near the center, up high, because my gear weighed so much, I didn't have the energy or strength to hike way down to water level, then back up again.
In the foreground, you see the treetops that I was looking over and through to capture the mountain in the background. It was filled with subtle colors of purple and orange.
The marsh area was dominated by a yellow green.
