At the end of August, sixteen plein air painters went on a four day paint out to the Adirondacks. We worked hard every day, ate too much, and went to bed early....only to start another day of painting. It was great fun and very exhausting.
Here are some of my paintings from that trip.
The simplicity of this scene really interested me. It's just a small island, of evergreen trees, in the middle of an Adirondack lake near Wannakena.
I love the result...... It's colorful, simple, and gives you a sample of the reflections I saw that day.
