Irondequiot Creek

This wooded scene is of the Irondequiot Creek that meanders through Linear Park in Penfield, NY, not far from my home. Four artists drove there to paint the natural setting, and how different the finished pieces were!!

Since the scene was basically a zillion different shades of green, I used my artistic license to portray the "essence" of the setting in my own way. Who needs to settle for a zillion different greens, when I can put in mauve, and blue, and purple, and sienna, and......
