I never knew this building existed. It is the old Perinton Hotel from the 1890's located in East Rochester, NY.My artist pal and I went out to paint en plein air, and I was struck by the flowering tree directly in front of the hotel. I painted the piece in oil and it measures 8"x8".
I wasn't going to include the water tower initially, but then decided to put it in. I love the way it came out. The tower adds "something extra" to the piece.
