
For this piece, I was following the Hudson River School Art Trail brochure. It can take you step by step to the specific locations where the Hudson River School painters created their masterpieces.
I found an Italian restaurant that was directly next to the Catskill Creek. The restaurant was closed, so I used their gazebo to protect me from the bright sun and humid weather.
This piece shows the blue-purple hills in the background and the colorful rocks in the foreground that capture those same colors.
