Today, I painted from a digital photo I had taken on an artists' get-a-way in the Adirondacks: Bog Falls. It is a woodland scene with a small waterfall flowing over some low rocks. The rocks were flat enough for me to walk across them on the dry areas.
Although no bears showed up that day, I was always on the lookout.
This piece measures 8" x 8" unframed, and I painted it in water-soluble oils. It is rich in color, and I employed very expressive brush marks.
