This piece was done en plein air at Chase Farms in Fairport, NY. They grow the best strawberries! It was partly cloudy with the sunshine peeking through the trees onto the front of the log cabin home. A small garden was in the foreground. I just had to paint it!

The piece measures 8" x 8" unframed and I painted it in oils. It's a happy piece with interesting brushwork and clean, vibrant color.
