Tinker Farm's Charm

There was a threat of thunderstorms coming our way, but we decided to head over to Tinker Farms in Henrietta anyway. Although the magnolia tree that I had seen days earlier, and had planned to paint, had dropped ALL its petals, I saw this little pinkish tree next to an old coop. There was the contrast I was looking for!

When Claudine, an artist friend, set up her easel directly next to the coop, it was a perfect set up.

This piece has lots of colors and expresses the charm I saw and felt that morning. It measures 10"x10" and I painted it in oil.

Lake Crescent Drive

I painted this last Saturday on Lake Crescent Drive. It's an upper class neighborhood filled with Tudor houses and lovely foliage.

The flowering bushes and trees are what made me stop to paint.

This piece measures 10"x10" and is in oil.
