California Hills - SOLD

I painted this piece onto a surface that I had applied texture, and used acrylic glazes without using water to thin the paint. It is a technique that I adopted after reading the book and watching the video of British painter, John Hammond. I used my photo as a reference. It measures 8" x 8".

My artist pal, Teri, told me it reminded her of the hills she saw when she would visit her daughter in California. She liked it so much, she bought it! Now that is good for my ego.
