The red roof of one lake house standing directly next to the green color of another just caught my eye.Whenever I am out looking for a scene to paint, I usually look for contrast. Here it was!
This piece was done at Lake Flower near Saranac in the Adirondacks, and is in oil.
Lovely painting Brenda...I just LOVE Lake Flower! My family is going back up mid-August to stay (again) at the Adirondack Motel on Lake Flower, just around the corner from the main beach in Saranac Lake! :) This painting captures the feeling of the area...so calm and serene! :-)
